8TH February – Kestrel Food Ltd is delighted to announce that two products from the Acti-Snack range have been shortlisted for the Free-From Food Awards 2017, which will take place in London on March 28th, 2017.
Acti-Snack Bar, Cacao, Cashew & Cranberry and Acti-Snack Bar, Fruit & Seed have been shortlisted amongst a number of industry leaders in the category of Superfoods & Sports Supplements.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Free-From Food Awards are the industry’s only award for ‘freefrom food’ – which includes products that are gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, and soya-free. The Acti-Snack bars were chosen because they are made from 100% natural dried fruit, nuts and seeds, are gluten free, and contain no artificial additives and preservatives.”
The FreeFrom Food Awards will be judged by a wide range of experts from across the professional food industry. These some of which include food manufacturers, chefs and cookery writers, dietitians, nutritionists, and coeliacs and allergy sufferers. The winners of the 2017 Free-From Food Awards will be presented with their certificates by the renowned chef, Antony Worrall Thompson.
