Lorna Cooke is a registered dietitian and SENr Practitioner
As a registered Dietitian and accredited SENr practitioner, Lorna has spent the last eight years working as a performance nutritionist and is passionate about ‘real food’ and feeding your body with the right type of fuel to improve performance.
Living on the shores of Strangford Lough in County Down, she spends her time taking advantage of everything coastal living has to offer and enjoys sailing on the lough and wild swimming.
She works with high performance athletes through Sports Medicine NI including endurance runners, swimmers and triathletes helping them reach their full potential and compete at their best across the UK and Ireland.
She is also the Lead Nutritionist within the Regional Squad Programme for Swim Ireland.
- Lorna has completed Dublin Marathon and has her eyes set on a triathlon
- She works with Paralympic swimming multi-medallists and World Champion cycling medallists
Lorna's ‘food first’ approach equips athletes with the knowledge of how to improve their performance through diet, helping them reach new heights.
With a wealth of knowledge about nutritional issues relevant to high performance sport, Lorna translates nutrition science into practical food advice to deliver athlete-centred nutrition plans.
