Typically, Keto is a diet consisting of around 70% of energy from fat, 20% from protein and 10% from carbohydrates. When a Keto diet is followed your body will stop using glucose as an energy source and will instead produce ketones. Ketones are molecules made by the body when glycogen stores have been depleted. They are produced from fats which are then burned off.


People choose Keto for several reasons including weight loss, reduction of fat to muscle ratio, and to manage diabetes. As with all diet choices, you should consult a medical professional before making any major changes.


We insist on using real food ingredients in our snacks. Many other Keto snacks rely on artificial sweeteners, which can have an increase in blood glucose and can often cause bloating and digestive discomfort.

There is also some criticism around the Keto diet because some approaches advocate eating a diet that is full of processed meat, a lot of butter and fat bombs. This approach can mean you miss out on essential micronutrients, vitamins, and minerals. We follow the CLEAN KETO principles for all our snacks. This is focused on nutrient-dense whole foods, which is much healthier and much more sustainable in the long run! Our principle is that real is best!

Types of Keto

Standard Keto

This is the most common approach – with high fat, moderate protein, and low carbohydrates.

High Protein Keto

This has an increased protein ratio, and relatively lower level of fat. Carbohydrates are kept the same

Targeted Keto

This allows you to introduce more carbohydrates in post workout - its ideal for anyone with a very
active lifestyle

Cyclical Keto

This is the standard Keto diet for 5 days and you can introduce more carbohydrates for the other 2 days

We know that everyone’s fitness levels and nutrition requirements vary, so we aim to have a range that works to support everyone’s goals. Our Keto range has been specially developed with the right balance of macro-nutrients for those looking for a low carb, low sugar or Keto snack.

Meals, meal replacements, and snacks which contain whole or unprocessed ingredients with reduced digestibility are allowed an additional 2g to be permissible for the Keto Certified Program.

Condiments are allowed an additional 2g per 15g for reduced digestibility, or low-usage threshold for the product.
